This competition is subject to the rules set out herein. All entrants, by entering the Competition, agree to be bound by the rules (“You”,” Entrant”).
1 Competition Name: CITROËN TEST DRIVE VALENTINES PROMO (“Competition”)
2 Promoter: Stellantis South Africa (Pty) Ltd (“Stellantis”, “We, “Us”, “Our”)
3 How to enter the Competition:
To enter the Competition, you must test-drive any new Citroën from a Citroën authorised Dealer in the Republic of South Africa (“RSA”) between 14 February 2025 and 31 March 2025. At such time, You will be automatically entered into the Competition.
4 The Prize: 1 winner will win a romantic dinner date and weekend (2 nights) stay at a 5-star hotel/spa (the “Prize”).
5 When do entries open and close: Entries open 14 February 2025 and 31 March 2025. You may enter the Competition only once.
6 Who qualifies to take part in the Competition:
6.1 In order to qualify as an entrant, You must have test-driven a new Citroën as stipulated in clause 3, reside in the RSA, be over the age of 18 years, have a valid Driver’s license (“license”) and not be a person disqualified from participating (see 8 below) and you must have validly entered the Competition in accordance with these rules. Proof of the license must be furnished to Stellantis.
6.2 Participants in this Competition will only be eligible for a single win throughout the duration of this Competition. Winning in this Competition does not disqualify that winner from participating in any other competition that may be conducted by Us at or around the time of the Competition or thereafter.
7 How will prize winners be contacted: The selected winner (“Selected winner”) will be contacted telephonically using the telephone numbers provided by You at the time of the test-drive of a Citroën. We will try three (3) times on each of three (3) consecutive days to notify the Selected winner . If You have been selected and we cannot contact you as aforesaid, you will no longer be entitled to win the Prize , and We reserve the right to draw another winner.
8 Who cannot participate: We, Our directors, members, partners, employees, agents and consultants (each an “associate”), our subsidiaries and each of their associates, Stellantis advertising agencies and all its employees, directors, members, partners, agents or consultants, authorised dealerships and all its directors, members, partners, employees, agents and consultants, the suppliers of any goods and services in connection with the Competition, and their respective spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members are not permitted to participate in the Competition.
9 Criteria and time for determining winner: Winner will be selected via random selection in the presence of a director from Stellantis. The random selection will take place 30 April 2025.
10 How prize will be delivered: The Prize will only be awarded to the Winner him/herself. Ownership of and risk in and benefit attaching to the Prize will pass on to the Winner immediately upon delivery of the Prize to the Winner.
11 Right to discontinue the Competition:
11.1 If We cannot continue with the Competition for any reason beyond our reasonable control including any applicable laws, We may terminate the Competition and will give notice of such termination. If the Competition is terminated in accordance with applicable laws, You will not have any claim of any nature whatsoever against Us, unless We were grossly negligent or intentionally fraudulent.
11.2 If We are required by the Minister of Trade and Industry or the National Lotteries Board or any other regulatory or self-regulatory body (including the Advertising Regulatory Board) to alter any aspect of this Competition or to terminate the Competition as a result of changes in legislation, We reserve the right to alter the Competition as may be reasonably required or to terminate this Competition with immediate effect and without notice. In such event, entrants waive any rights which they may have against Us in respect of such alteration or termination.
12 Unlawful content: Any post or image that may be an infringement of another person’s intellectual property or privacy rights, is inappropriate, hateful, offensive, illegal or obscene will be removed without notice to the entrant and the entrant will be disqualified.
13 Privacy When participating in the Competition, We will have access to and use Your personal information, including name, contact details and images. Please refer to Our privacy Policy at https://www.citroen.co.za/tools/privacy-policy.html which sets out how We handle Personal Information. By entering, You acknowledge that personal information about You will be shared with the Us and other third parties to the extent necessary to conduct the Competition.
14 When we are not liable: To the extent legally permissible (i) We assume no liability whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss or damage arising from, in connection with or as a result of Your participation in the Competition and/or your use of the Prize; (ii) You indemnify Us against any claim of any nature arising from, in connection with or as a result of Your participation, in any way whatsoever, in the Competition and/or your use of the Prize.
